Hailing from Los Angeles by way of Chicago, Ashlee has been singing since she was a little girl; learning from idols such as Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and Christina Aguilera. In her early performance days, she held the 1st place title in several singing competitions around the Chicago area. She also opened up for Jennifer Hudson and shared stages around the mid-west with several YouTube stars of the mid 2000's including Passion, Gabe Bondoc, and AJ Rafael.

 

In 2010, she began to collaborate with guitarist Alan Tiongson to write and perform. They did shows all over the Chicago area, including 103.5 KissFM's "Stuff-a-Bus" clothing and food drive, as well as a residency at e+o Restaurant's "Acoustic Summer Series". They were also proud finalists of Kollaboration Chicago 2013 where they had the opportunity to perform on the CBS Morning Show.

 

In 2016, Ashlee released her first EP titled "When It Was You & Me" featuring tracks written with Alan, as well as early songs written while away at school.
